The Principal In-Charge & Administrator of D. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital invites applications for the engagement of two Junior Research Fellows (JRF) under two separate R&D projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology and Biotechnology (DSTBT), Govt. of West Bengal, in collaboration with the AYUSH Branch, Department of Health & Family Welfare.

Project 1
Title: Prophylactic effects of the homoeopathic medicine Eupatorium perfoliatum 30CH during the dengue outbreak in Kolkata: A comparative cohort study

- 🗓 Period of Engagement: Initially 1 year, extendable based on performance
- 🧪 Nature of Work: Patient screening, field work, data analysis, IEC education, report writing
Project 2
Title: Double-blind, double-dummy, randomized, placebo-controlled factorial trial of individualized homoeopathic medicines and cognitive behavioral therapy in reducing depression, anxiety and stress in adolescents and young adults

- 🧪 Nature of Work: Patient enrollment, psychological case taking, data entry, documentation, analysis
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification:
- BHMS from a recognized university
- Registered with the West Bengal Council of Homoeopathic Medicine
- Knowledge of Bengali (Read/Write/Speak)
- Desirable Qualification:
- PG Degree in Homoeopathy or Public Health/Biostatistics/Clinical Psychology
- Research experience and certifications in GCP, biostatistics, research methodology
- Working knowledge of MS Office and research software
- Age Limit:
- Maximum 30 years as on 01.01.2025 (Relaxation as per Govt. rules for SC/ST/OBC)
📝 Selection Procedure
- Written Examination: 50 Marks (MCQ) – Qualifying mark is 30
- Interview & Personality Test: 20 Marks – Minimum 50% required for merit list
- Final selection based on combined marks of written test and interview
